Qualifications:
– Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or related field
– Proven experience as a Professional Chef, preferably in a hotel or fine dining establishment
– In-depth knowledge of culinary arts, food preparation techniques, and kitchen management

– Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
– Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
– Exceptional communication and leadership skills
– Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
– Creative mindset and passion for creating exceptional dishes
– Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and culinary advancements
Responsibilities:
– Plan and execute menus in collaboration with the culinary team
– Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking activities
– Ensure the highest quality of food production and presentation
– Monitor and control inventory and food costs
– Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques and best practices
– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
– Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
– Stay updated on industry trends and new cooking techniques
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
– Adapt to seasonal ingredient availability and changing menu preferences
– Create and test new recipes to add to the menu
– Handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies effectively and efficiently
