**Position:** Import Export Documentation Executive

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Import Export Documentation Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage and oversee the documentation process for import and export transactions, ensuring compliance and efficiency throughout.

**Responsibilities:**
1. Check Import & Inland Sales contracts for accuracy and completeness.
2. Draft and review Import and Inland Letter of Credit (LC) documents.
3. Manage Import and Inland LC amendments as necessary.
4. Update Management Information System (MIS) reports for Inland and Import transactions.
5. Coordinate with banks for document acceptance related to imports.
6. Liaise with banks for LC issuance, LC amendments, import document lodgement, and payment processes.
7. Prepare outward remittance documents as required.
8. Handle 15CA filings, arrange Supplier’s credit, and follow up with Clearing House Agent (CHA) for duty payments, IGM filing, and checklist completion.
9. Coordinate with shipping companies for trucking, Terminal Handling Charges (THC), and Delivery Order (DO) charges.
10. Prepare documents for Container Freight Station (CFS) nomination and Direct Port Delivery (DPD) as needed.
11. Verify and reconcile bank charges related to Import and Inland LC issuance, amendments, and retirement.

**Requirements:**
– Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or relevant field.
– Proven experience in import/export documentation procedures, preferably in a similar role.
– Strong knowledge of LC terms and conditions, banking procedures, and international trade regulations.
– Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
– Proficient in MIS reporting and documentation software.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with internal teams, banks, suppliers, and shipping companies.
– Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and verification.
