Description:
Dhirendra Group is currently seeking a Sales Head/Manager to lead our Poppy Seed business in Kolkata, West Bengal. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in sales, particularly within the agriculture sector, to oversee and grow our local operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Management:
– Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets.
– Manage sales operations and lead a team of sales professionals.
– Identify new opportunities for business growth and expansion.
2. Poppy Seed Business:
– Oversee the sales activities related to Poppy Seed products.
– Build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers in the industry.
– Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities.
3. Leadership:
– Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team.
– Set performance targets and monitor performance against goals.
– Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field.
– Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the agriculture sector.
– Knowledge of the Poppy Seed business is highly desirable.
– Strong leadership and communication skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
– Local and senior experienced candidates are preferred.
– Proficiency in MS Office and sales management software.
