Terms & Conditions for India's free job search & free job posting platform

This Agreement ("Terms," "Agreement") governs your access to and use of the ApnaJob.in website, mobile experience, and related services (together, the "Website" or "Services"), operated as India's free job search portal and free job posting website. "You" or "User" means any candidate, employer, visitor, or other person who accesses the Website.

By creating an account, browsing job listings, applying to a job, or posting a vacancy, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this Agreement in full, along with our Privacy Policy.

• "Candidate" — any individual using the Website to search jobs, build a profile, or apply for jobs online free.
• "Employer" — any company, recruiter, or authorised representative using the Website to post jobs for free or to hire candidates for free in India.
• "Listing" / "Job Posting" — any job opening, vacancy, or hiring advertisement published by an Employer on the Website.
• "Content" — text, images, logos, resumes, company profiles, reviews, or any material submitted to or displayed on the Website.

3.1You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to register as a Candidate or Employer on this free job search portal.

3.2You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and while maintaining your candidate profile, resume, employer profile, or job listing, and to keep this information updated.

3.3You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3.4ApnaJob.in reserves the right to verify, reject, or remove any registration, candidate profile, or employer profile that appears false, incomplete, duplicate, or created to bypass these Terms.

4.1ApnaJob.in operates on a no-cost model for both candidates and employers. Candidates can search jobs, build a profile, and apply to unlimited jobs online free of charge. Employers can post jobs for free and message shortlisted candidates without any subscription fee.

4.2ApnaJob.in generates revenue through advertising (including Google Ads) displayed on the Website. By using the Website, you may view or interact with these ads; this supports our ability to keep job posting and job applications free for everyone.

4.3ApnaJob.in acts solely as a facilitator connecting job seekers and employers. We are not a party to, and have no financial involvement in, any employment relationship, offer, salary negotiation, or transaction between an Employer and a Candidate.

5.1Candidates are solely responsible for the accuracy, honesty, and completeness of their profile, resume, work experience, and application materials submitted through the free job search portal.

5.2Candidates must not misrepresent qualifications, experience, or identity when applying for jobs, including for work from home jobs, part time jobs near me, government jobs, or any other category listed on ApnaJob.in.

5.3Candidates are responsible for exercising their own judgement when engaging with an Employer, including verifying legitimacy before sharing sensitive personal or financial information.

6.1Employers are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and completeness of every job posting, including job title, location, pay range, and eligibility criteria.

6.2A complete, verified Employer profile is required before a free job posting is approved and published live on the Website.

6.3Employers must not post job listings that:

• require candidates to pay any fee, deposit, or "registration charge" to apply or get hired;
• advertise multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, or other non-genuine "job" opportunities;
• discriminate unlawfully on the basis of religion, caste, gender, or any other protected characteristic under Indian law;
• are duplicated, spam, expired, or unrelated to a genuine current vacancy.

6.4ApnaJob.in reviews job postings before they go live and reserves the right to edit, reject, unpublish, or permanently remove any listing that violates this Agreement, without prior notice.

While using ApnaJob.in, you agree not to:

• engage in fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive activity toward any Candidate or Employer;
• scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract job listings, resumes, or contact details from the Website without written permission;
• upload viruses, malicious code, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Website;
• impersonate another person, company, or ApnaJob.in staff;
• use the messaging feature to send unsolicited commercial content unrelated to a genuine job opportunity or application.

8.1All intellectual property in the Website — including the ApnaJob.in name, logo, design, layout, and underlying software — belongs to ApnaJob.in and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.

8.2By submitting a resume, profile, company logo, job description, or other Content, you grant ApnaJob.in a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that Content on the Website and in related promotional placements (such as job-alert emails) for the purpose of operating the Services.

8.3You confirm that any Content you submit does not infringe any third party's intellectual property or other rights.

9.1The Website may display advertisements and links to third-party websites. ApnaJob.in does not control and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third-party sites.

9.2ApnaJob.in does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legitimacy, or current availability of any job posting, candidate profile, or other listing displayed on the Website, and encourages Users to exercise independent judgement.

The Website and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted access, or that job listings or candidate matches will meet your specific requirements.

11.1To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ApnaJob.in shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your access to, use of, or inability to use the Website or Services.

11.2ApnaJob.in is not responsible for any dispute, loss, or damage arising from interactions, offers, or agreements made between Candidates and Employers off-platform.

You agree to indemnify and hold ApnaJob.in, its founders, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Website, your Content, or your violation of this Agreement.

13.1ApnaJob.in may suspend or permanently terminate any account, candidate profile, employer profile, or job listing that violates this Agreement, without prior notice.

13.2You may delete your own account and profile at any time from your dashboard. Deletion does not retroactively remove information already shared with an Employer or Candidate through the messaging feature.

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the details of the Grievance Officer are provided below for reporting complaints regarding Content on the Website.

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.

16.1ApnaJob.in reserves the right to modify, update, or replace this Agreement at any time, at our sole discretion.

16.2It is your responsibility to periodically review the most current version of this page. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement.
