Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, empathetic, and experienced professional to lead our preschool as a Counsellor cum Center Head. The ideal candidate will play a dual role—overseeing the day-to-day operations of the center while also providing emotional and developmental support to children and parents. Excellent command over English (spoken and written) is essential for effective communication with staff, parents, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Counselling Responsibilities:

Provide emotional and psychological support to children through observation and interaction.

Address behavioral or developmental concerns with sensitivity and professionalism.

Guide parents on child development issues, including separation anxiety, communication delays, and social skills.

Create and implement age-appropriate activities to support emotional and social growth.

Conduct workshops and sessions for parents and teachers on child psychology and mental well-being.

Center Head Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe, clean, and nurturing environment.

Supervise teaching and support staff, ensuring high-quality early childhood education.

Coordinate curriculum planning and ensure adherence to learning objectives.

Monitor admissions, manage parent inquiries, and conduct school tours.

Maintain records related to staff, students, and center performance.

Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, safety standards, and regulations.

Plan and execute school events, celebrations, and parent-teacher meetings.

Act as the key point of contact between the center, parents, and the management.

Key Requirements:

Preferrable: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.

Certification or training in child counseling is a plus.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a preschool or early childhood education setting.

Proven experience in school leadership or administrative roles is preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and staff.

Organized, proactive, and able to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Passionate about child development and early education.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday – 8:30 To 2 PM
Saturday – [Half Day / As Applicable]

Salary:

Commensurate with experience and qualifications
