Key Responsibility of Senior Executive
Responsible for vendor sourcing and outreach via email and phone to establish D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) accounts.
Generate leads and achieve vendor onboarding targets.
Coordinate with vendors to set up D2C accounts, including payment terms, inventory requirements, order processing, customer service, and returns/refunds.
Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and share pre-analysis reports.
Procure necessary documents such as Letter of Authorization (LOA) and Reseller Certificates from vendors
Assist and coordinate with internal teams (inventory, order processing, customer service) to address queries and resolve issues.
Generate vendor analysis reports, pricing analysis reports, and sales reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
Build rapport with vendors and negotiate pricing, SKU selling exclusivity, marketing budgets, and promotions.
Conduct invoice reconciliation.
Qualification to be a Senior Executive:
Bachelor’s Degree in any Relevant field.
Communication: Strong communication skills for effective interaction with vendors through various channels which helps Building positive and long-term relationships with vendors.
Problem-solving: Ability to resolve queries and issues from vendors and internal teams.
Sales: Understanding sales and marketing concepts to assist vendors in achieving their goals.
Analytical: Analyzing market trends and vendor performance data to develop effective strategies.
Time management: Prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines when working with multiple vendors.
Negotiation: Negotiating terms and conditions with vendors to impact profitability.
D2C understanding: Knowledge of Direct-to-Consumer business models and related technologies.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms: Experience with different e-commerce platforms for vendor listing management.
Cultural awareness: Understanding cultural differences when dealing with international vendors.
Soft Skills:
Clear, persuasive, and professional interaction with vendors and internal teams.
Building trust and long-term partnerships with vendors, acting as a reliable point of contact.
Ability to influence vendors on pricing, terms, and promotional support.
Handling vendor or internal team escalations quickly and effectively.
Interpreting vendor performance data and market trends to recommend strategies.
Managing multiple vendor accounts and ensuring timely delivery of reports/targets.
Comfortable handling dynamic requirements, market changes, and vendor-specific challenges.
Sensitivity when interacting with international vendors and adapting communication accordingly.
Technical Skills:
Lead generation, outreach (calls, emails), and onboarding vendors into D2C channels.
Understanding of Direct-to-Consumer business models, vendor policies, and listing requirements across platforms.
Managing LOAs, reseller certificates, contracts, and ensuring all vendor compliance requirements.
Pricing analysis, SKU exclusivity discussions, promotions, and marketing budget negotiations.
Preparing vendor analysis reports, pricing comparisons, and sales performance dashboards (daily/weekly/monthly).
Invoice reconciliation, payment terms, and basic understanding of vendor P&L impact.
Working with inventory, order processing, logistics, and customer service teams to resolve issues.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups), CRM platforms, and familiarity with e-commerce marketplaces.
