Podcast Host Intern
About the Role
We are looking for a creative and curious Podcast Host to develop engaging audio
content centered around STEM fields.
You will be responsible for hosting end-to-end podcast episodes—including
researching topics, writing scripts, interviewing experts, and collaborating with
scientists, researchers, and industry leaders to bring high-quality, accurate, and
inspiring STEM stories to our audience.
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities
• Research, script, and present latest science news through engaging YouTube
videos.
• Create clear, accurate, and easy-to-understand science communication
content.
• Host and produce podcast episodes focused on STEM topics.
Interview scientists, researchers, and STEM experts for podcast and video
content.
• Develop episode outlines, interview questions, and storytelling angles.
• Record, edit, and deliver high-quality audio/video content.
• Collaborate with creative and content teams for visuals, thumbnails, and
promotion.
• Ensure scientific accuracy and fact-checking for every episode or video.
• Identify trending science topics for timely content creation.
• Manage publishing schedules across YouTube, podcasts, and social channels.
• Stay updated with current developments in science, technology, and research.
• Communicate scientific ideas in a simple, relatable way for the general
audience.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or
related field (Applicable Only to those who have already completed their graduation
or post-graduation Passing year –2023,2024,2025)
• Strong verbal communication, interviewing, and storytelling skills.
Interest in STEM topics and willingness to learn scientific concepts.
Basic experience with audio recording or editing tools.
Ability to research and break down complex ideas for a general audience.
• High attention to detail, creativity, and strong organizational skills.
Be confident and comfortable speaking on camera for YouTube videos and
podcast recordings.
• Good to have
Knowledge in podcasting, radio, digital media, or content creation.
• Familiarity with working with scientists, educators, or subject-matter experts.
• Knowledge of audio editing software
• Social media promotion skills to increase podcast reach.
• Be a quick learner, able to understand new scientific concepts and explain
them simply
