About Candidate
Engineering leader with 25 years across embedded product development, wireless connectivity, and networking software, working
at the intersection of silicon vendors, OEMs, and demanding end customers. Operates in two connected modes: as a Program
Manager owning scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality gates, and the customer relationship from concept to production; and as an
engineering line manager directing software systems development, applications development, and software quality assurance.
Builds and ships firmware, BSPs, device drivers, and network stacks on real-time operating systems and embedded Linux across
Qualcomm, ARM, and MIPS platforms. Leads a 40-engineer organisation with 12 direct reports running concurrent programmes on
separate product lines across the US, Europe, and APAC. Delivered products for Qualcomm, AMD, Dell, Google, Verizon,
Panasonic, Polycom, Alcatel-Lucent, and Indian defence programmes, including Wi-Fi platforms reaching approximately 12 million
production devices. B.Tech, Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Work & Experience
Lead a 40-engineer development and QA organisation with 12 direct reports, running concurrent embedded product development
programmes across separate product lines for Qualcomm, AMD, Dell, Google, Verizon, Panasonic, Polycom, and OLA Krutrim.
• Grew business 16% year over year by building a delivery-led engagement model, converting execution performance into
repeat product programmes and expanded scope.
• Owned end-to-end delivery across three product generations — Google Wi-Fi, Nest Wi-Fi, and Nest Wi-Fi Pro — reaching
approximately 12 million production devices, covering Wi-Fi 6E, OpenWRT/prplOS portability, Thread, Matter, and Fuchsia
validation automation.
• Ran the quality and certification gate path for Qualcomm WLAN and Bluetooth firmware integration into AMD PC platforms
across three hardware variants (Mayan, Lilac, Phoenix): Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth pre-certification, Microsoft WHQL
validation, and software security audit, driving every failure to root cause and corrective action.
• Delivered a complete eCos RTOS Wi-Fi AP/router on Qualcomm QCA953X for Tenda: network stack integration, NAT
optimisation, and throughput tuning to full line rate, sustaining 3,000 simultaneous connections, 1,000 TCP connections per
second, and 7-day soak stability.
• Ported and deployed the Verizon ThingSpace SDK onto Qualcomm NB-IoT reference silicon running ThreadX RTOS, delivering
the CES Internet of Everything demonstration in three months against a fixed external date.
• Delivered an OpenWRT-based wireless docking platform for the Dell Burton Dock: USB-C and 802.11ax fronthaul, wired and
wireless backhaul, EAP security, enterprise hot-desking, and production-grade software security assessment.
• Led post-silicon validation, secure and measured boot verification with TPM/fTPM, Realm VM and Secure Partition bring-up
on ARM FVP, BMC customisation, and OpenStack virtualisation enablement for the OLA Krutrim secure AI data-centre
platform.
• Acted as primary point of contact for customer, OEM, EMS, and chipset-vendor stakeholders, presenting programme status,
key metrics, risk, and critical issues weekly and monthly to VPs and customer leadership.
• Managed programme budgets, resource plans, and delivery commitments for multi-million-dollar programmes with globally
distributed teams.
• Built a test and validation automation framework covering more than 1,500 test cases, and institutionalised CI/CD and codequality
discipline through Jenkins pipelines, GitLab, Coverity static analysis, and review gates.
• Built and scaled competency teams in wireless connectivity, embedded software, BSP and platform engineering, and
customer deployment; mentored engineers into technical lead and architect roles.
• Managed third-party vendors and outsourced partners across evaluation, integration, engineering support, and licensing;
supported CMMI Level 3 and ISO 9001 assessment and audit readiness.
Owned board bring-up, U-Boot, BSP, and device driver development across MIPS, ATMEL, ARM Cortex-A8, MC68302, and
MPC850 hardware platforms.
• Directed the full product development lifecycle for WiMAX Customer Premises Equipment (SISO/MIMO, indoor and outdoor)
from design through production deployment and post-deployment customer support.
• Delivered a defence-grade tactical communication programme on WiMAX infrastructure — base station, ASN gateway, and
customised CPE with MIL-grade encryption — owning platform and BSP software for all ATCA shelf components.
• Designed and delivered Alcatel-Lucent W-CDMA Femto Base Station platform features including VCXO stabilisation (NTP
client, temperature management), assisted GPS, and EAP-SIM, and owned platform software release management.
• Represented CPE at WiMAX Plugfests, running interoperability qualification against multiple base-station vendors and driving
resulting defects to closure.
• Integrated networking and protocol features — VoIP SIP/RTP, NAT, ALG, DHCP, VLAN, QoS, EAP-SIM, GPS/AGPS, DECT —
across Linux, VxWorks, eCos, and ThreadX environments.
Developed embedded protocol software for GSM BTS systems, DECT wireless local loop platforms, and V5.2 access network
systems across PSTN and ISDN interfaces.
Worked in real-time embedded environments on protocol stack development, integration, and field debug.
Supported IT infrastructure and telecom systems maintenance.
