Academic / Admission Counselor (Distance & Online Programs)
Job Description
The Academic Counselor at NMIMS plays a key role in guiding prospective students through the enrollment
journey for NMIMS Distance and Online Programs. The counselor acts as a trusted advisor, helping students
choose the right program aligned with their career goals while maintaining NMIMS standards.
Counsel prospective students via calls, emails, WhatsApp, and walk-ins
• Understand student needs and recommend suitable NMIMS programs
• Explain program structure, eligibility, fees, learning model, and career outcomes
• Handle end-to-end admission process from inquiry to enrollment
• Maintain accurate records in CRM / lead management systems
• Follow up with interested candidates and ensure timely closure
• Participate in BTL activities, seminars, webinars, and corporate outreach
• Achieve monthly enrollment and revenue targets
• Ensure high levels of student satisfaction and ethical counseling
