ICU staff nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate ICU Staff Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, operating ICU equipment, and working closely with doctors and the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and record vital signs of ICU patients

Provide critical nursing care as per hospital protocols

Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed

Operate and monitor ICU equipment (ventilator, monitors, infusion pumps)

Assist doctors during procedures and emergencies

Maintain accurate patient records and nursing notes

Ensure infection control and patient safety standards

Provide emotional support to patients and family members

Requirements / Qualifications:

GNM / B.Sc Nursing qualification

Valid Nursing Council Registration

ICU experience preferred (Freshers with ICU training may apply)

Knowledge of critical care procedures and equipment

Ability to work in shifts, including nights and emergencies

Experience:

0–3 years
