Job Title: Junior Civil Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior Civil Engineer with 2–5 years of experience working under an architecture firm. The candidate will assist in planning, design coordination, site execution, and quality control of architectural and civil works, ensuring projects are delivered as per drawings, specifications, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Assist architects and senior engineers in civil design and execution works
Prepare, review, and interpret civil and architectural drawings
Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, and vendors
Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to drawings, quality standards, and safety norms
Support in quantity estimation, BOQs, and material take-offs
Conduct site inspections and prepare progress and inspection reports
Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
Help resolve on-site technical issues and coordinate design clarifications
Maintain project documentation and records
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of civil construction methods and materials
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
Knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory); basic knowledge of Excel/MS Office
Familiarity with site execution, finishing works, and coordination with architects
Good communication and teamwork skills
Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an architecture or design-focused firm
Exposure to residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects
Knowledge of basic estimation and billing processes
Education
B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute
