About the Role
Are you a people person with a passion for travel and a knack for sales? We are looking for a dynamic Sales & Vendor Onboarding Executive to be the bridge between our company and Goa’s vibrant hospitality scene. You will be responsible for expanding our network of travel partners—from luxury resorts to hidden-guest house cafes. This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives on building relationships, negotiating deals, and achieving targets while representing a growing brand in the market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Vendor Acquisition
• Proactively identify, research, and prioritize potential partners across Goa, including, restaurants, adventure activity providers, and transport operators along with hotels, resorts, homestays.
• Conduct impactful field visits to pitch our platform’s value proposition and onboard new vendors.
• Negotiate commercial contracts, tariffs, and payment terms that are mutually beneficial and aligned with company goals.
2. Relationship Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarded vendors, fostering strong, long-term partnerships.
• Regularly visit partners to ensure service quality, address concerns, and gather market intelligence.
• Act as a trusted advisor to vendors, helping them optimize their listings and maximize bookings through our platform.
3. Sales Strategy & Target Achievement
• Develop and execute a territory sales plan to penetrate the local market effectively.
• Consistently achieve and exceed monthly targets for vendor onboarding and revenue generation.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan joint promotions and campaigns with key partners.
4. Operational Coordination
• Ensure a smooth handover of new vendor data to the internal operations and finance teams for listing and payment setup.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all vendor interactions, contracts, and performance metrics in the CRM.
• Monitor vendor performance and address any service gaps to maintain high customer satisfaction.
5. Market Intelligence
• Stay abreast of trends, competitor activities, and emerging hospitality concepts in the Goa market.
• Provide feedback to the management team on market demands and pricing strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales, key account management, or business development, specifically within the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry in Goa.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrable history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and successfully closing partnership deals.
• Local Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of Goa’s geography, hospitality landscape, and key industry players.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi and/or Konkani is a strong advantage.
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software (Zoho preferred) and MS Office for reporting.
